Goofy “The Big Wash” Production Background (1948) - ID: may24163

A production background from the Disney Studios animated Goofy short titled "The Big Wash" (1948). Featuring a whimsical image of a circus tent, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The background is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the short. Measuring 10"x12" overall, with the image itself measuring 8"x10.5", the background is in very good condition with minor discoloration, light adhesive bleed from tape on the reverse causing staining to the front, edge and corner wear, and pinholes through three of the corners from studio use.
