A production cel and matching production drawing from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a fantastic image of the furious altered version of Beast, the hand-painted cel and graphite drawing were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season five episode titled "The Fifth Horseman," which aired on February 8, 1997. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.5"x9", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, light line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The drawing has some edge wear and discoloration. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
